Soccer Elite FA (SEFA) are a leading private football academy based in Kent. We, alongside our education partners Jace Training, are looking for an individual to be a lead tutor / coach at our Swale Post-16 centre at Sheppey United Football Club.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To lead and deliver the post-16 education at our Swale centre (BTEC Level 3 in Sport and NCFE Level 2 in Sport)
- To coach the Swale centre players alongside the SEFA staff
- To manage the Sheppey / SEFA squad on matchdays
- To recruit new players into the Programme, delivering recruitment sessions, events, open evenings, presentations, meetings etc, alongside the company senior management and the marketing/media team
- Opportunity to top up income by coaching at our evening Academy sessions with our younger players
REQUIREMENTS
- Level 3 PTLLS or Level 5 DET, or working towards
- UEFA B, or working towards
- An up to date DBS check or a willingness to obtain one prior to employment
- An up to date FA safeguarding certificate or a willingness to obtain one prior to employment
- An up to date first aid certificate or a willingness to obtain one prior to employment
- A driving license and access to a car
PREFERRED
- Level 3 TAQA
- Minibus driving license
- Knowledge of Kent / SE London football
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION
- A strong, driven and enthusiastic personality who can manage a classroom full of 16 to 19 year olds
- Organised, with an understanding that the education elements of our course are just as important as the football
- Lives within a commutable distance of the Isle of Sheppey
JOB INFORMATION
- Full time role, salary of £18,000 to £30,000 per annum pro-rata ranging from 24-36 hours per week, depending on experience and qualifications
- Based at the TPL Group Stadium, the home of Sheppey United FC
- Monday – Friday
- Starting September 2023
