Soccer Elite FA is delighted to confirm the formation of an under 16 squad to compete in the Junior Premier League in the upcoming 2022-23 season.
A trial for a place in the squad will take place on Friday 24 June, and is open to any boys currently in year 10; both current SEFA Academy members and non-members are encouraged to attend the trial.
Players will train once per week as a squad, with matches taking place on Saturday mornings.
Speaking about the decision to join the JPL at under 16 level, Kieran Culleton said: “We are extremely excited to create our first ever under 16 SEFA team to play in a structured league.
“This current age group has always been a strong one of ours, and we are looking to see how these players, plus potentially some new additions, can develop even further with extra training and a match each week.
“SEFA is growing into an even bigger academy and this is another huge step in what we will be able to offer our players over the next few years.”
