Good luck to SEFA graduates Harvey White and Kaiyne Woolery who both play in finals at Wembley this weekend!
On Saturday, Harvey will be representing Portsmouth in the much-delayed 2019-20 Papa John’s Trophy final against Salford City. Then on Sunday Kaiyne Woolery’s Tranmere Rovers face Sunderland in the 2020-21 final.
White, who is on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, will be making his Portsmouth debut in the Papa John’s Trophy having previously played in the competition for Spurs’ under 21 side. Meanwhile Kaiyne has already played in six Trophy ties this season and has two goals to his name, with one of those coming in the semi final against Oxford United last month.
What a fantastic moment for both lads, with the only sadness being that these huge occasions will be played behind closed doors instead of in front of tens of thousands of supporters.
We will of course be watching both matches closely this weekend – all the best chaps!
