The Scholars travel to Bede’s School in Sussex tomorrow to battle it out for a place in the last 16.

The Ursuline lads travelled to Buckswood School in Hastings on Wednesday and came away with a comprehensive 5-1 win.

Goals from Jack Penny (2), Mark Robinson, Jake Munday and Ezekiel Awonusi secured a victory in tough conditions at the Hastings school.

Ursuline Head Coach Simon Beard said: “I’m looking forward to taking the boys to Bede’s School for what is sure to be a great game.

“We know this is going to be another tough test. Bede’s will be quick, big and strong but I am confident the lads can continue this great run and we can reach the quarter finals.”

SEFA Director of Coaching Tony Browne added: “The success of our Ursuline Scholars this year really shows the strength of our Scholarship scheme across our centres.

“The boys have done magnificently this year and interest to join the Ursuline squad for September 2015 has already reached unprecedented levels thanks to the quality of player, coaching and facilities along with our professional fixtures programme.

“The sky really is the limit as SEFA really start to make their mark in Thanet and the wider East Kent area!”
