Soccer Elite FA are delighted to launch a new Pre Academy in Maidstone for players in school years R & 1, in collaboration with Vinters Football Club.
Starting after the Easter Holidays on Monday 17 April, the link up will provide players starting their journey in the beautiful game with the opportunity to be coached by Soccer Elite FA’s Academy coaches before graduating in Vinters’ squads and SEFA’s main Academy at under 7.
Taking place on Monday evenings at Maplesden Noakes, Pre Academy sessions will emphasise fun and engagement, with a key focus of ensuring players fall in love with the beautiful game. This is achieved through exciting and structured sessions delivered by engaging and highly-qualified coaches, with the aim developing players with an excellent foundation of technical skill with ball mastery, achieved through a mix of opposed and unopposed practices as well as small sided games. Focus is also given to building social skills and confidence, with players being encouraged interact with their peers and the coaches within the sessions.
SEFA’s Patch Lee said: “This is a really exciting development, and we are very happy to link up with one of the biggest and best youth clubs in Maidstone.
“We have seen great success and growth with our Medway Pre Academy with Hollands & Blair, and are now looking forward to replicating this programme in Maidstone with Vinters.
“The agreement is beneficial for both parties, with our young SEFA players now able to access the pathway into Vinters’ youth teams, while Vinters are now assured that their pre academy players will receive structured coaching from our team of professional coaches.”
