Soccer Elite FA are delighted to launch a bespoke goalkeeper-specific strand to our post-16 Education & Football Programme.
The Programme will run out of the SEFA College, with players studying for a Level 3 BTEC in Sport alongside taking part in three goalkeeper sessions per week at the Star Meadow Sports Complex in Gillingham. In addition, our staff will deliver specially-tailored strength and conditioning sessions and video analysis to our goalkeepers. Players will also be key members of our SEFA squads, and will take part in fixtures on Wednesdays.
SEFA’s Kieran Culleton said: “With the continued growth of SEFA, and the soon to be complete development at our home at Star Meadow, the time is certainly right to now provide a comprehensive Programme for our post-16 goalkeepers.
“We firmly believe we will be able to provide an unrivalled experience, delivering full time education and a training programme to be proud of. All of this will of course take place at the newly developed Star Meadow Sports Complex, which we are determined to develop into a peerless environment to develop our student athletes on the pitch and in the classroom.”
Boys and girls interested in joining our Post-16 Goalkeeper Programme can register their interest by filling in the form below.
Goalkeepers interested in attending our school sixth form centres at Maplesden Noakes and UKAT are of course encouraged to to so – goalkeepers at these venues will receive one goalkeeper session per week on site at their school, and will be able to take part in one session per week at Star Meadow.
