Freddie moves to Millwall

Congratulations Academy player Freddie Cross who has signed for Millwall!

The under 10 player, who attends our Elite Academy at Medway, has signed on the dotted line at The Den after impressing during a trial period which included games against Category 1 Premier League clubs Brighton and Fulham.

Freddie’s dad Wayne said: “Thank you to Lee, Rich and everybody at Soccer Elite FA for being a part of Freddie’s journey!

“He has had some amazing experiences, playing for SEFA against Barnet, Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur.

“His coaches, Kieran and Jordy, have played a big part in aiding his development and helping him to reach this point.

“Freddie has loved his time at SEFA!”

Soccer Elite FA director Lee Spiller added: “We are over the moon for Freddie who is a fantastic player but an even better young man.

“He has consistently improved and impressed during our training sessions at Chatham, earning rave reviews from our coaches in the process.

“Everyone wishes Freddie all the best as he links up with The Lions!”

Freddie becomes the second SEFA player in a fortnight to sign up at Millwall, following in the footsteps of under 16 player Fin Cotton, who signed a two-year Scholarship at the beginning of this month.
