Hafner heads for SEFA

Soccer Elite FA continue to strengthen the coaching team with Steve Hafner being the latest coach to join the ranks.

A well-known face on the Kent non-league scene, Steve has had a long and varied playing career in the Garden of England which has lasted nearly two decades.

Hafner counts Ebbsfleet United (then Gravesend & Northfleet), Dover Athletic and Margate among his former clubs, with his appearances at the latter coming in the Conference (now the National League).

Speaking about joining the SEFA team, Steve said: "I’m so excited to be joining such an amazing Academy that helps develop young players both on and off the pitch.

"I’m looking forward to working and learning more from the brilliant coaching staff who always approach the sessions with the right attitude, making sure every player improves week on week and always leaving the pitch with a smile on their face.

"This also gives me the the opportunity to help develop my two boys Fred & Frank to become better people and players.

"I'm so grateful to get opportunity to work along side one of my best friends in Lee Spiller, he built SEFA from the ground up and has produced some amazing players into the professional and non-league game. I can’t honestly speak highly enough of what he’s achieved and can’t wait to be apart of this amazing Academy."

Welcome to SEFA, Haf!
