SEFA purposefully offer a multifaceted coaching model that reflects the differing levels of technical expertise & experience required to uphold the quality standards that are so important to us. Our philosophy in the context of our coaches has always been to recruit individuals with the necessary personal characteristics that underpin the delivery of engaging & memorable training sessions, something that is a prerequisite for all coaches at SEFA. With that aspect providing the right foundation, the acquisition of technical FA qualifications alongside practical playing experience at the highest level combine to provide a differentiated coaching model from all of its competitors.

DIRECTORS OF COACHING

Accountable for the overall coaching philosophy & quality of coaches employed by SEFA across Coaching Pyramid, continuously providing the right blend of technical expertise alongside personal characteristics that combine to make an effective coach.

HEAD COACHES

This role oversees the day to day application of coaching techniques executed by SEFA coaches across the various performance tiers & age groups associated with SEFA. Responsibilities include the approval & sign-off of session plans delivered by coaches which are pre-prepared prior to every session, along with undertaking session & player debriefs with coaches on a regular basis.

COACHES

Coaches are the true customer face of the SEFA brand & through scheduled 'coach the coach' sessions, every coach benefits from a performance review & a structured development program designed to progress them through differing tiers of SEFA Coaching Pyramid.

    ASSISTANT COACHES

    The 1st formal entry point for a SEFA registered coach is as an Assistant Coach who will always work in partnership with other qualified SEFA coaches to develop their understanding & application of coaching skills & techniques.
